SHIPPING  & DELIVERY

At Ruddy Byre Highlands, we can often provide delivery of the cows for you for an additional fee. This fee is discussed and written in your sales contract.

 

If you choose to use a transporter please make sure that transporter is communicating well about their pick up and delivery dates. We do not recommend transporters that are going to have your cattle on trailers for multiple days. If you choose to use a transporter that keeps your cattle on their trailer multiple days or unloads them onto unknown grounds we will not be liable for shipping fever or other health issues that arise from this type of transport. If your transporter reschedules a pickup, reasonable accommodations will be made. If your transporter reschedules multiple times other arrangements may need to be made. If your transporter reschedules for after your “pick up by” date in your contract you may be charged daily board of $10.00 per day per animal which is payable prior to loading.
